Job Summary:
Matrix Providers is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical services at the 377th MDG Medical Treatment Facility in Albuquerque, NM. The ideal candidate will have a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree, completion of a clinical pharmacy residency or fellowship, and one year of professional pharmacy experience within the last two years. The Clinical Pharmacist will perform a full range of pharmacist procedures, counsel patients regarding medication use, and review patient profiles to monitor medication therapy. The position requires a current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a pharmacist, Basic Life Support certification, and DEA registration. The Clinical Pharmacist will work Monday to Friday, with shifts scheduled between 6:30 am and 5:30 pm. The position offers a competitive financial package, comprehensive insurance, accrued Paid Time Off, and a 401(k) Plan.

Responsibilities:
Perform a full range of pharmacist procedures
Deliver comprehensive pharmaceutical services
Counsel patients regarding medication use
Review patient profiles to monitor medication therapy
Ensure prescription directions are appropriate for individual patients
Compound medications as required
Ensure the accuracy of all pharmaceutical products prepared or processed by technical staff
Supervise inventory control of all pharmaceuticals in the pharmacy
Maintain appropriate records and security of all scheduled controlled substances according to applicable regulations
