Position Overview
As a Project Management Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the management of maintenance and construction projects within the telecommunications sector. You will assist Project Managers in the planning, directing, and coordinating of activities related to the construction and upkeep of facilities and systems.

Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in scheduling project tasks in a logical sequence and estimate the time required to meet deadlines.
2. Collaborate with supervisory personnel, clients, contractors, or design professionals to address and resolve issues such as work procedures, complaints, or construction challenges.
3. Prepare contracts and negotiate modifications, changes, and additions to agreements with engineers, consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
4. Develop and submit budget estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking documentation.
5. Interpret and clarify plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients, acting on behalf of the owner or developer.
6. Take necessary actions to manage the impacts of delays, adverse weather, or emergencies at construction sites.
7. Conduct inspections or reviews of projects to ensure compliance with building and safety regulations.
8. Analyze job specifications to determine suitable construction methods.

Qualifications
- Education or experience in a relevant field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, Project, and relevant engineering software is required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Candidates must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screenings.
