Job Overview
- The Cardiovascular Laboratory Specialist is a professional skilled in diagnostic and invasive cardiovascular and peripheral vascular technologies, with a thorough understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology for adult patients.
- This role involves performing all cardiovascular and/or peripheral vascular procedures at a high technical and professional standard, requiring minimal oversight.
- Education and Experience Requirements
- An Associate of Applied Science or Associate of Science degree is mandatory.
- A minimum of two years of experience in the relevant field or specialty is preferred.
- Familiarity with the anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system, as well as a solid understanding of ECG and hemodynamic principles, is essential.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
- Certification from ARRT or a similar accrediting organization is preferred.
- The Cardiovascular Laboratory Specialist must fulfill the continuing medical education requirements associated with their certification.
Work Schedule
- Day shifts as needed; PRN availability.
Compensation
The hourly wage for this position is competitive and based on experience.
- $37.00 per hour
