Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and empathetic Hospice Caregiver to join our team. As a Hospice Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing symptom management, patient and family support, and emotional comfort to those in need.
Responsibilities- Provide compassionate care to patients and their families, promoting emotional comfort and well-being.
- Administer pain management medications and perform prescribed treatments as directed by physicians.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Maintain accurate medical records and update patient files as necessary.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a training program or competency evaluation as specified in §418.76(b)(c) of the Medicare regulations.
- At least one year of experience as a Hospice Aide or Nursing Assistant in a hospital, nursing home, home health agency, hospice, or long-term care facility.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Current auto liability insurance and a strong commitment to patient care.
