Personal Care Attendant Job Description

Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and trustworthy Personal Care Attendant to provide assistance with daily living activities to individuals with disabilities. As a Personal Care Attendant, you will work one-on-one with our clients, providing support with personal care tasks, household chores, and other daily activities.

Responsibilities
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Provide support with household chores, such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Accompany clients to appointments and outings
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as walking and transferring
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
