About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Talent Partnerships team member to build and nurture relationships with key figures in the arts, entertainment, technology, and other fields.

This role is focused on establishing trust around OpenAI's mission and work, and educating key stakeholders on our technology.

You will represent OpenAI as a trustworthy, responsible leader that works with the people and industries most directly affected by our technology.

In this role, you'll be an ambassador, focused on educating and inspiring thought leaders, encouraging their support and advocacy.

High-profile industry leaders will become our allies and evangelists, inspiring others in their field to adopt AI tools and think about their disciplines in new and creative ways.

You'll spend time with them, understanding their process, motivations, challenges, and professional landscape.

We will often want to give them early access, special training, and support, and may decide to support their philanthropic or creative projects.

You will facilitate a feedback loop between OpenAI and influential figures, effectively communicating our mission, vision, and goals while seeking and sharing feedback and insights to inform product development and policy decisions.

This role is based in San Francisco or Los Angeles, CA. We offer relocation assistance to new employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and nurture authentic, high-value relationships with celebrities, artists, key industry influencers, thought leaders, and strategic partners.
  • Provide early access briefings, special training, and support, and build feedback loops to our internal teams.
  • Work closely with the Communications team and other key internal stakeholders to share our point of view and the potential of AI.
  • Build proactive communication plans to ensure industry leaders have accurate information and to demonstrate the positive impact of AI tools.
Requirements
  • Experience managing talent relationships in one or several disciplines.
  • Deep curiosity about ways in which artists and creatives are embracing AI tools for their workflow.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to distill complex technical concepts into conversations that are meaningful for creatives.
  • Thriving in a collaborative environment and enjoying working across teams and departments with colleagues from different backgrounds and areas of expertise.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities and technologies.
  • Resourceful and able to find creative solutions to challenges.
  • Belief in the importance of transparency and authenticity in communication.
  • Alignment with the goals of OpenAI.
