ManTech is seeking a highly skilled Senior Application Developer to join our team of top Information Technology and Analytic professionals. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and modifying software systems, applications, and tools to support our national security mission.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software systems, applications, and tools using Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
  • Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
  • Collaborate with teammates, vendors, and users to develop new program features and ensure seamless integration.
  • Develop unit and integration tests, participate in functional and regression tests, and correct errors to ensure program accuracy.
  • Participate in code reviews, deploy code to development, test, and production environments, and maintain documentation of application development.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of strong Java programming/development skills, with hands-on experience.
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and at least one modern front-end framework, preferably Angular.
  • Experience with the Spring Framework and RESTful services, SQL, and ORM libraries such as Hibernate/JPA.
  • Experience with Git branching and merging within a team to manage source code.
  • Strong ability to manage competing priorities and communicate with multiple stakeholders.

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • TS/SCI w/ Polygraph.

Desired Experience, Skills & Technologies:

  • Experience with Elasticsearch and best practices for developing secure web applications.

Physical Requirements:

  • Use hands to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly position self to maintain computers in the lab, including under the desks and in the server closet.
