Maintenance and Repair Technician

This role involves maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical systems in our facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for daily troubleshooting and routine maintenance activities, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal productivity.
The Maintenance Technician will troubleshoot and repair equipment problems, as well as participate in process improvements and production problem-solving initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Work with computerized maintenance systems to track work orders and preventive maintenance.
- PLC activities in the plant, including reading programs and troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot and repair various types of AC/DC drives, mechanical systems, pneumatic and fluid systems, electrical issues, and building systems.
- Perform fabrication and welding assignments as needed.
- Participate in training and actively practice safety fundamentals to aid American Packaging Corporation's efforts to achieve a zero-accident rate.
- Training in National Electrical Code, NFPA 79, Arc Flash, and AC/DC Motors.
- Ability to install and troubleshoot control circuits and communication systems.
- Thorough knowledge of mechanical power transmission equipment.
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Working knowledge of compressor systems and HVAC.
- Familiarity with all HMI systems in the facility with the ability to troubleshoot as necessary.
- Ability to move materials and equipment weighing up to 50lbs.
Estimated salary range: $32.53 - $40.00 per hour (plus shift premium). We also offer excellent benefits, including health insurance, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement.
