We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, work collaboratively with colleagues, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Assess and evaluate patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care, including medication administration, wound care, and patient education.
- Provide guidance and direction to Licensed Practical Nurses and Nurse Assistants, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence.
- Participate in departmental meetings, in-services, and educational opportunities to stay current with best practices and advance your professional development.
- Contribute to a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
- Associate Degree in Nursing or graduate from an accredited RN program required.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Iowa required.
- Previous experience in acute care preferred, one year preferred.
