Job Summary

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to provide high-quality, compassionate care to residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively while traveling.

Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Assist with patient intake, including taking medical histories, measuring vital signs, and recording patient information
  • Prepare and maintain examination and treatment areas, ensuring a clean and organized environment
  • Perform routine clinical tasks such as ECGs, wound care, and specimen collection in accordance with established protocols
  • Operate and maintain a REDS (Remote Dielectric Sensing System) machine for diagnostic purposes, including setting up, calibrating, and troubleshooting the equipment
  • Provide patient education and support, explaining procedures and treatment plans to residents and their families
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient care and facility operations

The ideal candidate will have experience operating a REDS machine or similar diagnostic equipment, as well as experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
