Mental Health Counselor LIII, Correctional Health Services, Professional

As a Mental Health Counselor LIII, you will play a critical role in our correctional health care system, providing high-quality care to patients in need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and implement counseling programs for assigned areas of healthcare settings.
- Supervise mental health counselors at Levels I and II, providing guidance and support.
- Assess individual performance competencies and arrange staff development opportunities.
- Facilitate consumer participation and act as a liaison between healthcare settings and community agencies.
Requirements:
- Valid license and current registration to practice as a Mental Health Counselor issued by the New York State Education Department.
- Three years of post-licensure experience, with two years of experience at Assignment Level II.
