Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll and Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Tutera Senior Living & Health Care. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing payroll operations, employee relations, benefits, compensation, and recruitment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage community payroll operations in accordance with company policies and procedures, applicable state and federal laws, and under the supervision of the Payroll/HR Regional Consultant.
  • Carry out employee relations, benefits, compensation, leave of absence, workers compensation, recruiting, prescreening, hiring, onboarding, new hire orientation, terminations, and participation in unemployment claims.
  • Promote employee relations and support organizational goals.
Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in the health care field is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of prior payroll and HR experience in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting is highly preferred.
  • Current knowledge of local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations is required.
  • Strong personal organization and time management skills with attention to detail and a high level of accuracy are necessary.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook is required.
  • A strong understanding of payroll accounting, payroll best practices, and payroll application systems is necessary.
  • A strong work ethic and ability to work as a team player are required.
  • Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material is necessary.
  • A professional image in both appearance and behavior is required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary.
