We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Surgical Technologist to join our team at Mercy Hospital Springfield. As a Surgical Technologist in our Vascular OR, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures and providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities- Assist with vascular surgeon in OR and Hybrid Imaging suite.
- Work with a team of nurses and surgical techs for Endo and Open cases.
- Ensure proper preparation and maintenance of surgical equipment and supplies.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to hospital standards and protocols.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless execution of surgical procedures.
- 2+ years of experience as a Surgical Technologist in a hospital setting, with 1+ year of experience in interventional vascular.
- Certification in CORST, CST, or TSC, with BLS certification from AHA.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
This is a full-time position, working 36 hours per week, with rotational weekend and call requirements. The successful candidate will be scheduled to work in the Vascular OR, with opportunities to work in other areas of the hospital as needed.
