Position Title: Architectural BIM Manager

Role Summary
We are in search of a proficient and seasoned Architectural BIM Manager to spearhead and oversee our Building Information Modeling (BIM) initiatives. The successful candidate will possess a robust architectural background, extensive expertise in BIM software, and a solid history of managing BIM standards and workflows. This position is crucial for ensuring the effective execution of projects and the ongoing enhancement of our BIM methodologies.
Primary Responsibilities
Establish and Maintain BIM Standards
- Formulate, implement, and uphold BIM standards, protocols, and guidelines to guarantee uniformity and quality across all projects.
- Regularly assess and revise standards to align with industry best practices and technological innovations.
Oversee BIM Library Management
- Supervise the development, organization, and upkeep of BIM libraries, ensuring they are current and accessible to project teams.
- Ensure the library is comprehensive, containing all essential families, components, and details for effective project execution.
Facilitate BIM Communication and Training
- Serve as the main point of contact for all BIM-related communications within the organization.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to keep personnel informed of new standards, tools, and workflows.
- Provide continuous support and troubleshooting for BIM-related challenges.
Develop and Distribute BIM Execution Plans
- Create detailed BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) for each project, outlining the specific processes, tools, and standards to be utilized.
- Ensure BEPs are effectively communicated to all project stakeholders and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage BIM360/ACC Project Accounts
- Administer and oversee Autodesk BIM360 and ACC project accounts, ensuring proper setup and configuration for all new projects.
- Manage user permissions and roles, ensuring secure and efficient access to project data.
Key Decision Maker on Software and Workflows
- Evaluate and recommend BIM software and tools, ensuring they meet the organization's needs and enhance productivity.
- Develop and refine workflows to optimize efficiency and collaboration across project teams.
- Stay informed of industry trends and technological advancements, implementing improvements where applicable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a BIM management capacity within an architectural firm.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, BIM360, AutoCAD, and other relevant BIM software.
- Strong understanding of BIM standards and protocols, including ISO 19650.
- Exceptional communication and training abilities.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.

- Able to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
