Assistant Maintenance Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Maintenance Supervisor for our luxury apartment building, BLVD Reston. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the property's engineering systems while providing exceptional customer service to residents.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide outstanding customer service by building rapport with residents and exceeding expectations.
  • Contribute to the preservation and enhancement of the property's value.
  • Assist in overseeing Maintenance Technicians, assigning work orders, and scheduling apartment turnovers.
  • Coordinate vendors and contractors in the absence of the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on apartments and building equipment.
  • Conduct repairs, maintenance, and cleaning tasks both inside and outside the property.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service.
  • Execute electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and appliance repairs.
  • Repair and maintain structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls, and building exteriors.
  • Prepare units for new residents.
  • Maintain, repair, and replace HVAC systems.
  • Perform grounds work like debris removal, sweeping, and light landscaping as needed.
  • Complete other assigned duties.
Qualifications:
  • EPA 608/CFC Certification is required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Extensive knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems in multi-family housing and large facilities.
  • Demonstrate high credibility and trustworthiness with a strong commitment to integrity.
