The ideal candidate will assist pharmacists in preparing, packaging, delivering, and charging medications under direct supervision. Key responsibilities include:

  • Filling and labeling medications
  • Stocking medications into pharmacy inventory
  • Restocking automated dispensing cabinets (ADCs)
  • Maintaining adequate medication stock levels and proper storage of medications
  • Delivering medications to patient care areas
  • Attending to medication requests and phone calls
  • Assisting in pharmacy quality assurance activities
  • Complying with state and federal regulatory requirements, Joint Commission standards, and Tenet and hospital policies and procedures

To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess excellent communication skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Additional requirements include:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent training required
  • Prior hospital pharmacy experience, IV experience preferred
  • Licensed in the State of Arizona as a Pharmacy Technician in training, licensed as a Pharmacy Technician, and/or certified as a Pharmacy Technician

This position offers a competitive salary range based on qualifications and location, estimated at $45,000 - $55,000 annually.
