As a House Attendant at TownePlace Suites Detroit Dearborn, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our public areas. This includes cleaning and buffing floors, shampooing carpets and furniture, and ensuring the public restrooms are clean and well-maintained.
Responsibilities- Comply with Aimbridge Hospitality standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations.
- Clean and maintain public areas, including floors, carpets, and furniture.
- Shampoo carpets and furniture as needed.
- Clean and maintain public restrooms.
- Handle luggage assistance requests in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Practice safe work habits to ensure safety for guests, fellow associates, and self.
- Handle lost and found items according to Aimbridge Hospitality standards.
- Turn in all keys and assignment sheets to the Housekeeping or Front Office at the end of the shift.
- Complete daily assignment checklists and submit to supervisor at the end of the day.
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- Valid driver's license for the applicable state and an acceptable MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving record).
- Ability to convey information and ideas clearly.
- Ability to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
- Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.
- Ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
