We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Nurse to join our team at Next GenHealth Staffing.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), including critical illness management and vent management.
- Respond to Code Blue situations within the facility and initiate protocol, special procedures, and cardiac monitoring.
- Manage the efficient flow of patients, including screening, preparation for exam, providing general nursing care, and arranging or testing and admissions.
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- Maintain and review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
- Check rooms daily for necessary supplies.
- Respond to and refer incoming telephone calls, including phone triage when needed.
- Must have successfully completed an accredited RN program.
- Must have BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications.
- Must have RN license in the State of Florida, COMPACT nursing state, or have the ability to obtain one.
- Must have a minimum experience level of one to two (1-2) years experience working as an RN in an acute care hospital (preferably in an ICU).
- Must have a minimum of one (1) year of experience working as an RN in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
