Critical Care Physician

As a Critical Care Physician in Cardiovascular Critical Care at Intermountain Health, you will be part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. Your expertise in Critical Care Medicine will be invaluable in supporting advanced therapies for complex critically ill patients, including cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery, vascular surgery, cardiac transplant, temporary and durable mechanical circulatory support, and all cardiology subspecialties.
We are seeking a Critical Care Intensivist with a strong background in CV Critical Care to work at Intermountain Medical Center, the premier academic medical center and flagship quaternary hospital for Intermountain Health. This state-of-the-art facility currently has 96 ICU beds and 4 specialized ICUs, and is in process of expanding.
As a member of our team, you can expect to provide 24-hour in-house coverage in the Cardiac Surgery ICU and Cardiology ICU, with 16 weeks of ICU shifts annually, including 3-4 night shifts per month. You will also have the opportunity to participate in academic appointments with protected time and potential leadership roles, such as Medical Director of Temporary Mechanical Circulator Support.

Requirements:
- MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
- Residency training in Internal Medicine or Anesthesia or Emergency Medicine
- Board certification or eligibility in Critical Care Medicine
- Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process
