Key Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, evaluation, and intervention.
- Utilize standing orders with support from licensed providers to provide patient care.
- Administer medications and injections per standing order or provider order.
- Monitor for reaction and document in the electronic medical record.
- Provide in-person and phone triage services for patients.
- Document interactions as part of the permanent medical record.
- Initiate and provide emergency care as needed.
- Provide leadership with facilitation of clinic efficiency and effectiveness.
- Recommend and implement changes that result in improved clinic functioning and best practices of care.
- Supervise student staff, including development of the onboarding program, employee performance, and scheduled hours.
- Maintain the ordering, inventory, and stocking of the medication dispensary formulary.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the state of Wisconsin or Nurse Compact License.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification or the ability to obtain within 1 month of start date.
- Proficient computer skills, including keyboarding, navigation within a windows operating system, use of electronic mail and electronic medical records systems.
