Responsibilities:- Acquire forklift sit-down counterbalance certification and crane certification.
- Develop knowledge in basic fiberglass and composite repairs.
- Follow instructions and work well with others.
- Utilize computer skills and required tools.
- Perform physical requirements of the job, including walking long distances, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working at heights above 10 feet.
- Become familiar with EPA regulations associated with fleet body shop repair.
- Hold a valid Utah Driver's License.
- Be team-minded and pride-driven.
- Two years of previous work experience in the body industry or related trade school experience or equivalent apprenticeship program training.
- Experience in fleet body repair or automotive or industrial painting.
- Knowledge in welding experience.
This is a physically demanding position. You will stand for six to eight hours per shift, lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds, and be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, paint, and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials.
