A prominent network of hospitals in Oregon is seeking an experienced professional to support the management of imaging services. POSITION SUMMARY

The Assistant Manager of Radiology plays a crucial role in aiding the department manager with the oversight of imaging operations and productivity. This position involves supervising department personnel and providing essential technical support to ensure the efficient delivery of imaging services under the guidance of the department manager and attending radiologist.

DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

The Diagnostic Imaging teams utilize cutting-edge imaging technology to deliver vital information to healthcare teams, facilitating swift and accurate diagnoses. Services offered include X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Bone Density, CT Scan, Digital Mammography, MRI, and Ultrasound.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Current registration with an accredited credentialing organization and valid Oregon licensure in a diagnostic imaging modality is mandatory.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a role of comparable complexity and responsibility is required.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and computer skills is essential.
  • Healthcare Provider BLS certification is necessary.

  • Customer Service: Understanding of customer service principles, including needs assessment and quality standards.

  • Communication and Conflict Resolution: Strong written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information clearly and effectively.
  • Confidentiality and Compliance: Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and the ability to maintain confidentiality of protected health information.
  • Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, fostering constructive relationships and managing multiple projects with shifting priorities.
