Job Title: Interior Design Consultant

At Havertys, we are seeking a skilled Interior Design Consultant to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will work closely with customers to provide expert design services, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist Sales Consultants in closing transactions by providing design services to customers.
  • Visit clients' homes to assure proper furniture placement and color coordination.
  • Recommend additional furniture and accessories for the room design as needed.
  • Maintain a consistent level of sales and other key metrics as required by management and Havertys policy.
  • Position may involve sales training directly on the sales floor to enable an understanding of the Havertys customer engagement process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in interior design or related field; or 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training.
  • ASID certification preferred.
  • Current valid driver's license with a clean driving record and ability to drive and provide personal transportation to customer in-home appointments.
  • Reliable transportation with verification of minimum state required car insurance.
