Position: Facility Manager

Golds Gyms of the Carolinas is expanding and seeking a dedicated Facilities Manager to enhance our operational excellence. This role will challenge your expertise and reward your achievements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, train, oversee, mentor, and assess maintenance personnel.
  • Foster a high-performing maintenance team through structured training and guidance that aligns with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Manage procurement of equipment parts, cleaning supplies, maintenance materials, and related items through the company’s designated purchasing system.
  • Stay informed and compliant with all OSHA regulations.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently.
  • Initiate and oversee maintenance and safety protocols for various facility equipment.
  • Ensure preventative maintenance for machinery, including HVAC systems.
  • Maintain compliance and stay updated on changes from regulatory bodies such as OSHA.
  • Exhibit knowledge of all emergency procedures.
  • Oversee all aspects of the facility, including exterior grounds, equipment, and inventory management.
  • Coordinate and manage deliveries effectively.
  • Plan and schedule modifications to the facility, including cost assessments.
  • Experience in pool maintenance and operation is preferred.

This position requires the ability to perform essential duties effectively. The physical demands include standing or sitting for extended periods, reaching, climbing, and occasionally lifting or moving up to 50 pounds.
