Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee critical projects within our organization.

Role Summary

The Project Manager will be accountable for the comprehensive management of projects, from initial concept through to the successful commissioning of new pipeline systems. This includes overseeing engineering, construction, quality assurance, cost management, procurement, surveying, and commercial interactions. The role may require extensive travel.

Key Responsibilities

The Project Manager will:

  • Lead and ensure the successful execution of core management functions for a designated business unit, including planning, organizing, directing, staffing, performance management, coordination, reporting, and budgeting. This may involve managing both contractors and company employees.
  • Collaborate with clients and the commercial team to manage project timelines and execution, taking charge of scheduling and cost management.
  • Oversee project engineering and construction activities, ensuring successful delivery from concept through to commissioning.
  • Provide regular reporting and accountability to the finance department.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to the projects, safeguarding both the workforce and the community.
  • Manage environmental permitting, procurement processes, right-of-way negotiations, and surveying tasks.
  • Conduct thorough project risk assessments and develop comprehensive risk management plans for corporate oversight.

Qualifications

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline, along with 5-10 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3-5 years in project management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP certification is highly desirable.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness to travel and work at various locations, with personal transportation responsibilities.
