Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Automation Engineer to join our team at Apple. As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining frameworks and sophisticated automation environments that will be responsible for the development of test flows and automation infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive investigation of use cases, system-level operation, and develop software to validate functionality and performance of the systems.
  • Craft test plans, debug and isolate issues/bugs caught in test automation, and report results across multiple teams.
  • Develop and maintain test automation tools and frameworks.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of quality testing experience.
  • Ability to define, design, develop, and maintain test automation tools and frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Python, with practical experience in coding for testing purposes.
  • Hands-on experience in firmware validation methodologies for embedded systems.
  • Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and software development lifecycle.
  • BS or MS in CS/CE/EE or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Committed to quality and passionate about delivering great experiences to our customers.
  • Knowledge of wireless standards (Bluetooth Classic/LE, WiFi, Thread).
  • Experience in algorithm validation related to sensor technologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
