Our facility is situated in a vibrant community, serving a diverse patient population. While proficiency in French or Haitian Creole is advantageous, it is not a requirement.

We have recently established a Neuroscience Center that provides cutting-edge treatment for conditions such as Epilepsy, Movement Disorders, Neuroimmunology including Multiple Sclerosis, and Stroke. Our advanced services include Neurosurgical, Neuro Critical Care, Interventional Neuroradiology, Neuroradiology, and Neuro Rehabilitation. Our Stroke Center is recognized for its capability in thrombectomy, and our Epilepsy Center has achieved prestigious accreditation.

Responsibilities

Position Purpose:

To deliver expert neurological care to patients at H+H Kings County across both inpatient and outpatient settings as an Adult Neurohospitalist.

  • Conduct evaluations and manage patients within the General Neurology Inpatient Service, including consultations and admissions.
  • Engage in General Neurology Outpatient Practice during non-inpatient service periods.
  • Supervise and mentor Medical Students, Residents, and Fellows, contributing to the educational mission of the Neurology Service.
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives within the Neurology Service.
  • Attend and contribute to Neurology Service Faculty meetings.
  • EEG interpretation is a plus but not mandatory.
Qualifications
  • Valid New York State medical license
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Adult Neurology
  • Completion of an Adult Neurology Residency program

Preferred Qualifications:

Two years of clinical experience is preferred.
