Job Summary:

PAGNY is seeking a skilled Neurologist to join our team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. As an Adult Neuro-Hospitalist, you will provide expert care to patients on the General Neurology Inpatient and Outpatient services.

Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and manage patients on the General Neurology Inpatient Service, including consultations and admissions.
  • Attend to General Neurology Outpatient Practice while not on the inpatient service.
  • Supervise and teach Medical Students, Residents, and Fellows, participating in educational activities of the Neurology Service.
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement (QAPI) activities of the Neurology Service.
  • Attend and participate in Neurology Service Faculty meetings.
  • EEG reading is a plus but not required.
Qualifications:
  • Current licensed NYS registration certificate.
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Adult Neurology.
  • Completion of Adult Neurology Residency.
Preferred:
Two years of clinical experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:
  • Annual Base Salary: $269,216 based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
  • Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $52,520.
  • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
