Warehouse Director

At BioSpace, Inc., we are committed to making a difference in the lives of patients around the world. We are seeking an experienced Associate Director, Warehouse Management to join our team.

The Associate Director, Warehouse Management will oversee the efficient management of warehouse operations, ensuring the seamless flow of materials to support cell therapy manufacturing and development. This role will involve strategic planning, process optimization, and team leadership to maintain safety, quality, and compliance.

• Develop and implement warehouse strategies to support multiple warehouse facilities, including inventory and materials management processes.
• Improve warehouse processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall productivity.
• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of warehouse staff, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and inclusion.
• Ensure all warehouse activities comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the accurate tracking and management of inventory, ensuring the availability of materials for development needs.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as manufacturing, quality control, and development, to synchronize warehouse activities with production goals and incorporate continuous improvement.
• Manage and escalate material supply risks to team members, developing mitigation plans.
• Support new material qualification efforts, tech transfer projects, and process improvements.
• Produce and analyze reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and other important metrics to inform decision-making.
• Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular safety audits.

• 10+ years' experience with a BS/BA or 8+ years with an MS/MA/MBA.
• Relevant experience in Supply Chain/Materials Management within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, preferably within cell therapy.
• Experience using inventory management, asset management, and environmental monitoring systems, such as ERP (Netsuite), CMMS (Blue Mountain), and EMS (Vaisala).
• Direct experience in warehouse and materials planning/procurement.
• Experience working in a GMP manufacturing facility.
