The ideal candidate will possess a strong team-oriented mindset, exceptional analytical abilities, and the capacity to cultivate effective relationships. A commitment to ongoing improvement and a proactive work ethic are essential for success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate closely with the leadership of technical committees to promote goals and evaluate committee performance utilizing industry insights and metrics.
  • Engage with committee members to establish consensus standards that are essential for both industry and governmental bodies.
  • Organize and represent SAE in both virtual and face-to-face committee meetings.
  • Serve as the primary contact for communications, ensuring compliance with established policies.
  • Advocate for SAE technical committees within relevant professional circles.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 5 years of experience in customer engagement or group facilitation.
  • Experience within the aerospace sector or a related field is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in managing organizational processes and procedures.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and meeting facilitation capabilities.
  • Strong organizational, planning, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Competence in utilizing computer software and web-based applications.
  • Ability to balance the diverse needs of individuals while maintaining organizational integrity.
  • Willingness to travel up to 35% of the time.
