About Us:
We are a specialized memory care assisted living community, dedicated to serving individuals with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. Our facility is conveniently located and features a cozy environment with a total of 54 residents across three buildings.
As a community focused on memory care, our staff is committed to providing support throughout the various stages of the disease.
Compensation:
The starting pay for CNAs is $16 per hour, with higher rates available for those holding a MAT or CMA/ACMA certification. Pay is negotiable based on experience, and preference will be given to candidates with prior memory care experience. We offer full-time schedules, with our primary need being for the overnight shift (11 PM - 7 AM).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide essential resident services and perform other assigned duties.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including personal care, meal services, and life enrichment activities.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
- Offer emotional and physical support to residents.
- Monitor vital signs and maintain accurate documentation as required.
Core Job Duties:
- Uphold the philosophy of dignity, privacy, and individuality for all residents.
- Encourage self-care and independence among residents.
- Ensure the highest quality of service in a compassionate atmosphere that respects individual needs and rights.
- Facilitate individual and group social recreational activities.
Qualifications:
- Must be an active member of the OK Nurse Aide Registry as a certified nursing assistant.
- Preferred minimum of one year of experience working with older adults as a personal care assistant.
- High school diploma or GED required; twelve (12) years of education preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years old, or older if required by state regulations.
- Experience with dementia residents is preferred.
- Must meet continuing education requirements and certifications as per job classification and state regulations.
