Job Title: Leasing Consultant

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Leasing Consultant to join our team at Shapell Properties Inc. in Thousand Oaks. As a Leasing Consultant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, generating qualified traffic, and assisting in the development and maintenance of successful resident retention programs.

Responsibilities:
  • Busy phones and data entry
  • Supporting and adding value to our marketing efforts
  • Generating a consistent flow of qualified traffic
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of successful resident retention programs
  • Providing extraordinary customer service
  • Demonstrating our community to prospective residents while maintaining a 30-35% closing ratio
  • Following up with prospects
  • Inspecting community and common areas for cleanliness and presentation
  • Involvement with planning and coordinating resident functions
  • Maintaining constant contact with other communities in the market place
Qualifications:
  • Must be organized, able to multi-task, detail oriented, and work in a high energy and fast pace professional working environment
  • Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills, basic computer skills, the ability to find appropriate solutions to challenges, and provide assistance to the Assistant and Community Manager when necessary
