Food Service Professional

We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Professional to join our team at Brighton Recovery Center for Women. In this role, you will play a vital part in providing nutritious meals to residents while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and serve delicious and nutritious meals that meet the dietary needs of our residents, adhering to DOC and VA guidelines.
  • Collaborate with area non-profit agencies and private clients to provide catering services that are prepared, transported, and served according to NKY Health Department standards.
  • Assist women in applying for SNAP benefits, processing applications and recertifications with the Department of Community Based Services, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Ensure program compliance with all contractual regulations outlined in the operations manual.
  • Provide training and support to residents on proper food handling, preparation, storage, and culinary techniques, adhering to NKY Health Department standards.
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with staff on resident-specific needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
