Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Count Team Member to join our team at iCIMS Organic ZipApply. As a Count Team Member, you will be responsible for the collection and processing of large volumes of currency from Tables Games, Slot Machines, and Poker for reporting purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Remove and replace BV Cassettes and Table Drop Boxes on a daily basis.
  • Unlock and open slot machine doors and bill validator doors to access cans to be collected.
  • Responsible for proper closing, locking, and shutting of all machines dropped that day.
  • Operate electrically powered tow carts to transport full validator cash can carts to and from the Count Room.
  • Unlock and remove all currency/chips from each dropped canister and assign designated asset numbers for processing.
  • Perform daily cleaning maintenance of the currency counting machines.
  • Record cash/chip drops.
  • Assist with all Count Room Department activities as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED, with money-handling skills or a combination of education and/or experience.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and proofreading) and the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent organization, multi-tasking skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet critical time deadlines.
  • Comfortability conducting mathematical transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to lift/push up to 50lbs to 100lbs, stand and/or walk for an eight-hour shift, and bend and kneel.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and a 10-key adding machine.
  • Able to work in a collaborating, structured, organized, and highly regulated environment.
Work Environment
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, and demonstrate high-mobility for a majority of the shift.
  • Will also regularly: speak and listen to internal and external customer directions or orders in an atmosphere of varying background noise; transit across surfaces that may alternate between carpeted and hard surfaces; walk through slippery surfaces and/or sloping floors or stairs; use hands to finger, handle, or feel small objects such as paper or cloth; and reach with hands and arms overhead and from side to side.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
  • Position requires bending, lifting, and carrying supplies and equipment up to 20 pounds, will be required to use, push, and pull wheeled hand-carts or other equipment weighing in excess of 100lbs.
  • Will regularly bend, stoop, kneel, and twist at the waist.
  • May occasionally be exposed to bodily fluids, pet or service animals, and strong odors.
  • Will regularly be exposed to tobacco and other second-hand smoke.
  • May occasionally use de-escalation techniques to resolve customer conflict.
  • Will be required to assist in customer evacuation in case of emergency.
