Key Responsibilities- Safely Supply Materials: Provide production operators with the necessary materials and packaging in a timely manner, ensuring that all materials are accurately labeled and stored in designated areas.
- Operate Cutting Equipment: Set up and cut metal stock using assigned equipment, adhering to strict safety protocols and quality standards.
- Organize and Maintain Work Areas: Ensure that all containers and stock are properly organized and stored in designated areas, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform Data Collection and Communication: Collect and record data using Job Boss and other applications, communicating effectively with production teams and management.
- Perform Equipment Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance on assigned equipment, diagnosing and correcting issues to ensure optimal performance.
- De-burr and Rework: Perform de-burring and rework of work-in-process materials, adhering to quality standards and specifications.
- Operate Forklift Safely: Safely operate a forklift to load and unload trucks, moving materials within the facility.
- Maintain Work Station: Maintain work stations to 5S standards, ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
- Comply with Safety Standards: Perform all work according to Precision Aerospace Corp. safety standards, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Experience: 1 year of successful prior experience in a related role, including operation of production equipment, power tools, and hand tools.
- Coordination and Attention to Detail: Proven ability to coordinate multiple priorities and pay close attention to detail with material specifications and production control systems.
- Measuring Equipment: Ability to use common measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Blueprint Reading: Blueprint reading skills to GD&T standards.
- Computer Skills: Basic Windows and MS Office skills.
- Math Skills: Ability to perform basic math functions.
- Driver's License: Unrestricted driver's license.
- Security Clearance: Eligible for Powered Industrial Truck Permit.
