Job Opportunity

VitalCore Health Strategies is seeking a skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team at the Alachua Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Gainesville, Florida.

Job Summary

The Mental Health Counselor will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide high-quality mental health services to patients. This role requires a licensed, master's-level behavioral health clinician who can assess and make treatment decisions, as well as provide mental health treatment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform individual and group therapeutic interventions as needed.
  • Conduct administrative consults for specialized social services.
  • Provide psychiatric social service work on the Behavioral Health Unit.
  • Assist in planning and implementing program goals and objectives.
  • Participate in in-service programs and assist with staff orientation.

Requirements

  • Must be a licensed, master's-level behavioral health clinician (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist).
