POSITION SUMMARY
The Air Handling Unit Project Engineer serves as a recognized authority and expert within the Business Unit (BU) or site.
This role encompasses a comprehensive range of field commercial and technical support activities, including tasks that necessitate specialized qualifications and expertise.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Deliver commercial, competitive, and technical application assistance to the field sales team regarding all facets of Custom Air Handling Units with minimal oversight.
Collaborate with a dedicated team of technical professionals to provide clear solutions to requests from the field sales organization for AHU project assistance, emphasizing the Basis of Design.
Support customer engagement initiatives, including factory tours, as required.
Engage in the testing of AHU selection and pricing software.
Coordinate with the Field Sales team, manufacturing, engineering, and Customer Service to address Air Handling Unit order challenges.
Partner with engineering to devise cost-effective solutions for unique Air Handling Unit applications.
Assist Airside Technical Service with field application challenges as necessary.
Generate technical documentation to support field sales across various air handling application areas as needed.
Collaborate with marketing to establish requirements for selection and pricing software as necessary.
Identify optimal techniques, procedures, and theories, applying them to the analysis, design, and/or research of air handling products.
Utilize advanced problem-solving techniques that require frequent ingenuity and creativity.
Review and evaluate engineering guidelines and documents as necessary.
Propose cost-saving measures and value engineering alternatives for Air Handling Units and systems.
Provide technical guidance to other engineers, drafters, or technicians on specific assignments.
Demonstrate proficiency in preparing, verifying, and coordinating the release of documentation to support Custom Air Handling products.
Exhibit expertise in translating concepts into product requirements while applying concurrent engineering principles with manufacturing processes.
Conduct feasibility studies and systems analysis for new applications as required.
Commit to continuous improvement and teamwork in product development and processes.
QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ABET accredited) or a related scientific field.
