- Support the Executive Chef in fostering a positive work environment, providing performance feedback, recognizing staff, and managing hiring and training processes in line with company diversity and compliance commitments.
- Engage with guests to ensure satisfaction, address complaints promptly, and collaborate with the service team for a seamless dining experience.
- Stay informed about the venue's food and beverage products, menu items, and kitchen equipment, and perform other job-related duties as needed.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 2+ years in a relevant role, including managing employees under a collective bargaining agreement and experience in high-volume or luxury fine-dining restaurants.
- Fluent in English, either as a primary or secondary language.
- Comprehensive understanding of health and safety regulations, with strong knowledge of menu preparation, presentation, and kitchen equipment.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, execute staffing guidelines to optimize efficiency and labor costs, and maintain excellent organizational skills under time constraints and deadlines.
- Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, capable of working effectively with guests, management, employees, and outside contacts in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
