We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at South Shore Health. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in the rehabilitation and recovery of our patients. Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and treat patients with a variety of sports, orthopedic, and physical disorders
- Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to achieve goals and objectives for optimal patient care
- Monitor treatment activities of rehabilitation aides
- Provide comprehensive evaluations, re-evaluations, and treatments in accordance with established departmental and discipline-specific standards of care and practice
- Develop and implement patient care plans using evidence-based practice
- Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and healthcare team members
- BS or MS in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school
- Previous clinical experience or rehabilitation experience preferred
- OT or OT Temp - Occupational Therapist or Temporary license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA)
