We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Progressive Care unit at HCA Florida Blake Hospital. As a Cardiac Progressive Care Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient condition during admission and each scheduled shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by medical providers, ensuring thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record.
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor patients for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to the medication.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures.
- Licensure as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting strongly preferred.
- Current American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
