Job Summary:Responsible for providing educational services in the child's natural learning environments, utilizing parent coaching approaches to build parent capacity and enhance daily routines. Serves as a primary coach for assigned cases, collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team to promote family participation and child outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide educational services in home and community settings, using parent coaching strategies to support child development.
- Serve as a primary coach for assigned cases, working closely with families to promote child outcomes and family participation.
- Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement services, ensuring a comprehensive approach to supporting child and family needs.
- Participate in weekly team meetings and provide discipline-specific support and information as needed.
- Act as an educational consultant to staff and families, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality services.
- Minimum of BS/BA or MS degree in Early Childhood Development or related field, with three years of experience in early childhood special education.
- Current Washington State Teaching Certificate with Early Childhood Special Education endorsement.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability to work effectively with families, staff, and outside agencies.
- Spanish language skills a plus.
- Valid WA state driver's license, state required minimum automobile insurance, and ability to use own vehicle on the job.
