Job Summary

The Defense Health Agency is seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Consultant to join our team. As a Behavioral Health Consultant, you will work closely with primary care teams to provide evidence-based behavioral health services to military health system beneficiaries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct bio-psychosocial evaluations of behavioral health patients
  • Provide individual or group counseling
  • Develop behavioral health treatment recommendations
  • Collaborate with primary care teams to provide integrated care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work from a Council on Social Work Education-accredited program
  • Current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice social work independently
  • One year of specialized experience in conducting bio-psychosocial evaluations, providing individual or group counseling, and developing behavioral health treatment recommendations
