We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team at SpringHealth Behavioral Health and Integrated Care. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide in-home services to children and adolescents, working closely with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
Responsibilities- Implement behavior intervention plans as designed by the supervising BCBA to address specific client goals, including reducing problematic behaviors and teaching new skills.
- Accurately record data on client behaviors and progress, ensuring that the BCBA can effectively monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Through structured and naturalistic teaching methods, assist clients in developing social, communication, and daily living skills.
- Provide compassionate and consistent support to clients, fostering a positive and encouraging environment.
- Collaborate with families to teach strategies and interventions that can be used outside of therapy sessions to support client progress.
- Communicate openly and regularly with the BCBA, other team members, and families regarding client progress, challenges, and any changes in behavior.
- Adhere to ethical standards and guidelines established by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BCBA) and ensure that all practices are conducted with integrity and professionalism.
- Must hold an active and valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BCBA).
- Previous experience working with children and adolescents in a behavior intervention setting is required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. College coursework in psychology, education, or a related field is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as a part of a team, and a genuine passion for working with children and adolescents.
- Reliable transportation is required, as the position involves traveling to clients' homes.
