Job Summary:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in respiratory therapy, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute care setting. You will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients, including assessing their needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients, including oxygen therapy, ventilation, and aerosol therapy
  • Assess patient needs and develop treatment plans to meet their respiratory care requirements
  • Implement interventions to improve patient outcomes, including medication administration and respiratory therapy modalities
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Document patient information and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in an acute care setting
  • PICU and NICU experience required
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist licensure in applicable state (OR)
  • American Heart Association BLS and PALS for Health Care Providers certification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
