We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Huntley Hospital. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing pharmacy services and assistance under the supervision of a pharmacist.
Key Responsibilities- Provide pharmacy services and assistance, including refilling automated dispensing systems and preparing orders.
- Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to maintain accurate inventory and ensure efficient medication distribution.
- Support the pharmacist in providing patient care and education.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance pharmacy operations and patient outcomes.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Illinois licensure as a Pharmacy Technician (LPC) and Pharmacy Technician License (IDFPR).
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification through PTCB required for those licensed after 2008.
- 1 year of experience in a hospital setting.
