Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is around $73,000-$85,000 depending on location and experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer great benefits packages, including:

Job Description

This position supervises the shipping dock department's daily needs, ensuring safe and efficient loading times to sister plants and customers. Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising the shipping crew and adhering to loading standards, times, and efficiencies
  • Scheduling workloads and prioritizing shipments
  • Communicating with scheduling and corporate as daily needs and requirements change
  • Operating spotter tractors to move trailers in and out of docks
  • Reviewing shipments prior to billing and executing all billing and invoicing functions

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a related field and 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience acting as a lead, providing training, coaching, or mentoring to less experienced staff
  • Forklift, electric pallet jack, and spotter tractor licenses preferred
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Good time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This position requires regular lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds and occasional movement of more than 100 pounds. You will also need to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear frequently.
