Housekeeping Role

As a Housekeeper at Traditions Hospitality Group, you will be essential in maintaining a pristine, inviting atmosphere for our guests. Your meticulous approach and commitment to cleanliness will significantly enhance guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Thoroughly clean and upkeep guest accommodations, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming floors, and sanitizing bathrooms.
  • Replace linens and towels as necessary, ensuring all items are fresh and presentable.
  • Empty waste receptacles and dispose of refuse in a hygienic manner.
  • Restock guest room supplies and amenities, such as toiletries and coffee.
  • Inspect rooms for damages or maintenance needs and report any issues to the relevant department.
  • Follow company protocols regarding cleaning standards and guest confidentiality.
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of housekeeping carts, storage areas, and equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with fellow housekeeping staff to ensure timely task completion and overall property cleanliness.
Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to pass a background screening.
  • Prior experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to cleaning protocols.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy items.
  • Positive demeanor and willingness to collaborate as part of a team.
  • Professional appearance and readiness to wear a uniform.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items, such as linens and cleaning supplies.
  • Exposure to cleaning agents and odors.
  • Moderate physical exertion required.
  • Possible exposure to smoke.
