Salary

The salary for this position ranges from $25 to $26.50 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of arborists and trimmers to ensure efficient and safe completion of tree trimming and removal jobs.
  • Interpret tree trimming orders and develop a daily work plan for the crew.
  • Perform pre-job hazard surveys to identify potential risks and assign work tasks accordingly.
  • Operate heavy machinery, including bucket trucks, chainsaws, and aerial lifts.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in forestry, horticulture, or a related field.
  • At least two years of experience as a lead arborist or trimmer.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of tree identification, growth habits, and arboriculture techniques.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and work at heights.
