Job Title: Psychologist Corrections Coalinga, California

Job Summary:
Body Fit Plus Inc is seeking a qualified Psychologist to provide mental health services to inmates at a correctional facility in Coalinga, California.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide psychological services to mentally ill inmates, including crisis intervention, group psychotherapy, and face-to-face interviews.
  • Conduct initial mental health evaluations, including criminal, psychological, and substance abuse case history.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans that reflect the standard of practice.
  • Consult with supervisors, treatment team members, and institutional healthcare personnel on complex cases.
  • Document all care provided to inmates, including face-to-face contacts and Interdisciplinary Treatment Team meetings.

Requirements:
  • Twelve (12) continuous months of experience within the last three (3) years rendering direct patient care in public or private institution.
  • Valid California Psychologist license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association.
