Position Overview

Join Our Team as a Math Instructor

At Schoolhouse 4 Math, we are dedicated to helping students overcome their mathematical hurdles and develop a genuine enthusiasm for numbers. We are seeking individuals who are either current college students or recent graduates with a strong affinity for mathematics and a desire to teach.

Our organization provides a supportive and engaging atmosphere for students in grades K – 12, assisting them in enhancing their math skills. Share your enthusiasm for mathematics and play a crucial role in boosting students' self-esteem. This is a part-time opportunity requiring three shifts per week, allowing you to balance your work commitments with your academic pursuits and other interests.

Role: Math Instructor

Employment Type: In-Person & Part-Time

Compensation: $17.00 to $18.50 per hour based on educational background

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a passion for mathematics through personalized tutoring sessions
  • Exhibit an energetic and confident demeanor
  • Effectively communicate concepts and demonstrate patience with students requiring additional support
  • No prior tutoring experience? We provide comprehensive training to equip you with the skills needed to excel as a math tutor
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Proficiency in mathematics up to algebra
  • Availability for three days a week during instructional hours (Monday-Friday 3 pm - 7 pm and Saturday 9 am - 1 pm)
